  FAQs Q1: What power stations can Charger 2 charge? Is it compatible with third-party power stations?
A: Charger 2 is compatible with all BLUETTI power stations and most third-party solar generators with MC4 connectors.
Note: When switching between power stations, please adjust the voltage in the BLUETTI app to avoid damaging the charging port.

 

Q2: Will Charger 2 drain my car battery? Do I need to turn it off each time?
A: No. Charger 2 auto-monitors the car battery and stops drawing power in 3-6s when the engine is off.
Battery detection sensitivity varies by vehicle. Check during first use to ensure it stops charging. If not, turn it off via the BLUETTI app.

 

Q3: Will Charger 2 damage my car battery or shorten its lifespan?
A: No. Charger 2 monitors the car battery's voltage and adjusts its output accordingly. If the battery drops below 12.0V/26.0V, undervoltage protection is triggered and charging stops. With proper maintenance, your car battery will perform as expected.

 

Q4: Which vehicles are compatible with Charger 2? Can it be used with hybrid or electric vehicles?
A: Charger 2 works with vehicles that have a 12V or 24V starter battery, including RVs, vans, and trucks.
It also supports hybrids with an alternator and starter battery, but not EVs due to their unique charging systems.
Q5: Is the D+ signal cable included? And how should it be connected?
A: The D+ signal enables faster, more accurate alternator detection for reliable charging. The cables should be user supplied, using a 2-pin connector (5.08 mm pitch, 24 AWG). For wiring instructions, refer to the Charger 2 support video.   PREVIEW
