NEW 7.6KW Solar System with GOODWE 7600A-ES hybrid and 10Kwh CATL

This listing is for the basic components needed to either turn your existing string based solar system into a hybrid with battery storage or to construct a completely new system with battery backup.

If you have an older failing system which uses a SMA or Fronius or Xantrex or Sunpower inverter (no micro inverters) and your inverter just died, this is a great way to upgrade to backup storage (and more) and get your system working better than before for less than most companies would charge for just a new inverter (without storage). Save more on your utility bill than before and enjoy your backup power solution when the grid is down.

The Kohler Hybrid system uses a  GoodWe GW7600A-ES  with 4 inputs for panel strings ( total up to 11400W max) .Power coming from the panels can be used in different ways, depending on how the system was configured.
- Regular Gridtie mode with backup ( protected output of the inverter will still provide power to your loads from the panels and or batteries if the grid is down )- Grid assist     This mode will not supply power back to the utility and only charge the batteries and assist providing power the loads at the output  (if you do not have a net metering agreement with your utility you should use this mode)- Off grid , loads will be serviced by the solar panels and batteries.- TOU  (Time Of Use ) specific settings, This allows you to not use (or way less) any grid power during certain set times ( usually peak 5-9pm)  and allows to recharge the batteries from the grid (or just from the panels) during low rate time (if there is such a thing ) hours.
All of the above functions are limited by the amount of battery storage and actual usage of your protected loads.
This listing includes 10KWH of battery storage.
